I started Capital City Commerce back in 2013 and I run all aspects of my business from our local shop in Arlington, VA. It all started when I wanted to purchase a coozie as a gift for a friend's birthday that had a funny saying on it...a funny phrase that we repeated so many times during a beach trip that it became it's own little inside joke among our group of friends.

At that time though, every business I came across would only do a custom design if I was willing to buy 100+ items. Since I only needed one, I learned how to do it myself! I made that gift for my friend, and it got me thinking...I bet other people would love to have fun items like this to share with their friends and family.

AND JUST LIKE THAT, MY BUSINESS WAS BORN!

Several years later I still treat each and every order as if it were a product for a family member of my own, and I truly enjoy creating items that people can use during special occasions. Regardless of whether it's a fancy wedding and you want something special to remember the big day, or something as simple as a friends' night out, I can put together a great design to help celebrate the occasion.
